On October 30 — November 1, 2024, Ufa hosted the 30th international specialized exhibition "Energy of the Urals" as part of the Russian Energy Forum.

This year, more than 80 companies were represented at the exhibition, including the largest developers, manufacturers and suppliers of the electric power industry. It is noteworthy that 85% of the participants are equipment manufacturers, and 50% of the exhibitors are new companies. The exhibition covered 20 regions of Russia, including Moscow, the Sverdlovsk Region, the Stavropol Territory and, for the first time, the Republic of Buryatia. In total, the event attracted more than 8,400 visitors.
The opening of the forum began with a welcoming speach of Radiy Khabirov the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Next, there was a live broadcast from the Yuldash substation in Blagoveshchensk. A solemn ceremony of energizing the power facility took place. The ceremony was attended by the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and the General Director of Bashkirenergo Anatoly Piskunov.

The business program included many interesting reports for specialists, such as "Compensation of capacitive currents, resistive grounding of neutral conductors in networks", "Digitalization of heat supply", "Information security in the energy sector", and many career guidance events for students took place at the Russian Energy Forum in Ufa.

In total, the Forum included around 40 events, in which more than 300 expert reports were presented.
The "Supplier's Day" was held on October 31. All interested participants of the “Ural Power Engineering” exhibition were given the opportunity to visit JSC BEGC (Bashkir Electric Grid Company). Within the walls of the electric grid company, representatives of the enterprises were received by Bulat Garipov, Member of the Management Board, Director of Procurement and Logistics, and Elena Kovyrzina, Head of the Logistics Department. They talked about the details of conducting procurement activities in the company, as well as answered the questions of the participants.
